The new BlackBerry 10.2 Os will have all major features of 10.1 with some added features and fixes. The biggest feature updated is the notifications one. Previously BB 10 won't allow users to see from where these are coming without opening notifications or hub. But in this new version, users will see a main notification alert feature that will show all alerts as toast notifications with an action button on top of screen. Now these are actionable notifications or toasts that allow users to take action directly from its drop-down menu.

Along with Actionable Notifications, BB 10.2 OS has also revamped its Settings menu. The new Wi-Fi Direct function will allow users to connect to other device without a router via an ad hoc connection. A brand new App Manager and Calendar subscription option is also given.

This new BB 10.2 OS will have a built in native Evernote app that will now allow users to mute the notifications and ability to see them on lock screen. This feature did not exist in BB 10.1. We will hope to see official launch of BlackBerry 10.2 with Q10 or Z10 soon.
