Japanese consumer electonics company, JVC, has announced an upgraded version of its ADIXXION action camera.

Japanese consumer electonics company, JVC, has announced an upgraded version of its ADIXXION action camera. Enter the JVC GC-XA2 ADIXXION, an action camera that is water-proof, shock-proof, dust-proof, and freeze-proof. It also features a built-in LCD and Wi-Fi support.

Performance-wise, the GC-XA2 ADIXXION is able to support 1920 x 1080 60p/50p progressive Full HD recording, and 1280 x 720 high-speed recording at 120fps/100fps for 4x slow-motion playback. JVC has also improved the optical lens, making it brighter and wider.

Other improvements include better image stabilization, higher-resolution LCD monitor with auto off and auto brightness functions, higher-resolution image sensor, higher audio bit rate, and better noise reduction. The JVC GC-XA2 ADIXXION will be available this month. It will retail for $299.95.
