Cars are about to undergo a radical shift in their digital status. Sprint is to unveil its Velocity Service Bus which will revolutionize the internal and external connections of cars.

The Internet-related functions of cars were limited until now. They consisted of receiving instructions and locking format. But with Sprint these tricks of technology are about to get updated. According to Engadget, after the launch of its Velocity Service Bus, things will never be the same again. Besides maps there is a cloud connected system. Everything from radio settings to seating arrangement and thermostat positions are seen to. The service may be just the thing for those people who own many cars.

Sprint’s Velocity Service will allow a great number of sensors to be implanted within cars so that they become fully connected vehicles. Smart phones, tablets and several other computing devices will be operable through this cloud connection. The platform makes the whole process fast and lucid. Automobile manufacturers and drivers can now cooperate on the features within this system. Some of the salient features include: a mobile concierge service where the driver upon returning to the vehicle will get the directions for his next stop. Besides automatic cabin temperature adjustment there is a device that lets you in on alternative routes in case of traffic jams. Finally, the locator is available that allows you to find your car in the parking lot. With so many features nobody would want to miss out on Sprint’s Velocity Service Bus.
