Apple Updates Logic Pro X with Free Remote iPad App

Apple unveils an update of Logic Pro X today. This latest version comes with free Logic Remote iPad app and many new features like Drummer, Flex Pitch, Track Stacks and Arpeggiator. Logic Pro X and the live performance app MainStage 3 are available at App Store for $199.99 and $29.99 respectively.

Apple has just launched an updated version of its digital audio software Logic Pro X. The new version comes up with some latest and advanced features. SVP of Appleā€™s Worldwide Marketing Philip Schiller has just officially unveiled the software. He said, "Logic Pro X is our most powerful version yet, with advanced tools and a modern new interface designed to streamline the process of creating professional quality music."

The all new redesigned interface of Logic Pro X has added many new features in it. Logic Remote feature is the most important and advanced one that provides iPad integration with software. Now musicians will have an extra remote mixing space to create 'realistic drum tracks' using their iPad's multi-touch display. This advanced Logic Pro X version also includes many new features specially designed for musicians. These include

  • Drummer is a virtual session player with many new drumming styles and playing techniques
  • Flex Pitch that provides facility to edit audio recording pitch in Waves Tune-style,
  • Track Stacks allows musicians to collapse many tracks at one time, and the
  • Arpeggiator MIDI plug-in.

This new update of Logic Pro X will be available today at Mac App Store for $199.99. MainStage 3, the live performance companion application, is also updated. It is now available for $29.99. Apple' Logic Remote iPad app is available free.
