WhatsApp Messenger for iOS Gets iCloud Chat Backup

The wonderful messaging platform, WhatsApp Messenger lets iOS users get conversation backups in iCloud.

Most apps come and go. But the WhatsApp Messenger is a vital requirement of today’s socializing crowd. It is a famous application that the whole global village is currently using for its social needs. It fulfills a deeply felt impulse in their psyches. That is why it occupies one of the slots in the list of top ten apps of the planet. But today, the WhatsApp Messenger iOS app has received a special treatment to update its features.

According to Apple Insider, the changes include iPhone users sending many pictures with the same message. Users can employ made-to-order URL strategies for third party apps. Most of all, they may shift the conversation record to iCloud. In order to do this you need to update to the newest edition of WhatsApp. That would be version 2.10.1. Beyond the update, you have to head over to the settings and choose the chat options. Now you are home-free and can back up on demand. Users can also send multiple photos at the same time due to multi-send UI feature. Also this version provides URL schema support for 3rd party apps.

The fact that WhatsApp has received an update and that too for iPhone is a good thing that got even better. For now the app is absolutely free of cost. Later in the year it may have a subscription attached with it. Messaging services are a dime a dozen, with such varieties as: Line, Kakao Talk, WeChat, Path and Facebook Messenger. But, WhatsApp remains the head honcho of them all. As a Sequoia based messaging app, WhatsApp has gone freemium. This brings WhatsApp in synch with other giants like Android, Blackberry and Nokia.
