Google to Announce New Nexus 7 and Android 4.3 on 24th July

Google Android head Sundar Pachai has many surprises for next week's product event. Leaks suggest that new Nexus 7 successor and Android 4.3 powered Nexus 4 can be launched during the press event.

Google's upcoming press event of 24th July is hot now in leaks. Several hints are made for the event. Latest of these is the addition of Android 4.3 to Google Nexus 4 tablet. The new Nexus 7 refresh is also expected to launch during the event. A video and some images of the upcoming Nexus 7 2 are already leaked yesterday. What we might see folks during the event is Nexus 4 running on Android 4.3 OS and a brand new Nexus 7 refreshed model in both 16GB and 32GB version.

Android Police has posted a screen shot via Google+ user Jeff Williams that points towards a Nexus 4 build of Android 4.3. The new head of Android, Sundar Pachai, is really thinking different for upcoming Google product event. We might see some new surprises too along with the expected release of new Nexus 7 tablet.

A video and some images of upcoming Nexus 7 are allegedly leaked by Android Central. It suggests that the successor model will be labeled ME571K_PR1_SKU2. It will have 7-inch 1080p screen, again manufactured by ASUS. Other leaked specs include 1.2MP LITEONMOBILE front camera, 5MP Chicony rear camera, APQ8064 Qualcomm motherboard and Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core 600 CPU. It can have either 2GB RAM or 4 GB DDR3L RAM, as not exactly known yet. A 3.5mm headphone jack and 4000mAh battery is also there.

New leaks did not suggest any 8GB budgeted model. The price of 16GB model will be $229.99. The 32GB version will cost $269.99 which is a little higher than current model.
