Path expands service to Amazon Kindle Fire tablets

Social network, Path, announces the launching of its app on the Kindle Fire.

The series of unfortunate events doesn't seem to weigh down the photo-sharing and messaging service we know as Path. That's because the social network is announcing today that it is expanding its service to Amazon's Kindle Fire tablets.

"Making Path available for Kindle is a goal our Android team has worked tirelessly and excitedly to accomplish over the past few months," the company said. "We were thrilled to work with Amazon, a team who sets the standard for quality and customer satisfaction."

The new Path app is now available for the Kindle Fire HD 7-inch, Kindle Fire HD 8.9-inch Wi-Fi, and Kindle Fire HD 8.9-inch 4G LTE. It's free and the app can be downloaded here.
