Spotify adds a new browse feature of curated playlists to its already plentiful repertoire of services. In other words it is about to turn into an editorial set up ahead of the arrival of a rival named Daisy.
Spotify is to launch a curated playlist of features that will wow the music-loving crowd. Meanwhile, its main opponent has entered the arena. Jimmy Iovine’s Daisy is focused on this field too. Spotify though is definitely on top of its game. With its latest addition of a browse platform, people may select what track they like for a morning run or a gym workout. The playlists are a billion in number. They have been created by users and a dedicated team of 35 workers.

Some of the features of Spotify resemble Daisy’s prominent objectives. Daisy too is fueled by human innovation and creativity plus mathematical algorithmic functions. Iovine has even taken advice from such greats as Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails (who is the CCO at Daisy).
Daisy will begin its debut in the upcoming months. The two services will vie for the public’s attention. There is a text message facility attached with Spotify which allows for comments to be passed on various types of music. The browsing function meanwhile is the star attraction of the show.
Launched on iOS and Android, this wonderful feature will allow people to select something suitable for the mood they are in when they have no singer or song left in their minds to play. Curation is the cure for the billion odd choices to choose from. And it is where the two companies will compete in order to gain the sympathy of the common user base.
