Elon Musk revealed the Hyperloop transport concept. The Hyperloop transport system would allow to travel between San Francisco and Los Angeles in 30 minutes. Elon Musk unveiled the details on how he thinks the Hyperloop could work. He is putting it all out there as he has not time to do it himself. This is making the Hyperloop less likely to ever be built. In the paper released Elon Musk says that capsules would travel at high speeds (up to 760mph) in tubes.

There are several physical limits that need to overcome to do it and Mr. Musk provides some solutions that might work. He also thinks a ticket could cost just $20 per person and the overall cost to build the Hyperloop between SF and LA would cost only about $6 billion.

Elon Musk thinks big and he has success with that. Just see SpaceX and Tesla. The question is now if anybody like him is taking on the Hyperloop to make it a real thing.
