Google Updates Hangouts with Video Calling via AT&T

Google has given the option of AT&T video chatting on its updated Hangouts Android platform. After this option was allowed, it led to an influx of users who were glad that the facility could be availed.

All people using an AT&T connection can now enjoy the choice of video chatting on Hangouts. This comes courtesy of the carrier and the good news is that the Android app has been streamlined. The perquisite comes to you exclusively due to the WiFi feature. In the beginning, the network put the entire onus squarely on the shoulders of the Operating System and the manufacturing plants. But now it has taken a different tack. Video chat has been enabled on 3G/4G networks. It will take a full 365 days for the job to reach final completion though. AT&T has definitely shown a spirit of cooperating instead of staying aloof from the whole game.

It’s a good thing when the blame game comes to an end and different organizations join hands in a spirit of camaraderie and mutual harmony. Before this decision was taken, which is music to the ears of users of video chatting, the facility was unavailable. But as is obvious from a small excerpt issued forth by AT&T, things are about to change for the better. The video chatting facility makes sense and will be a boon for those who want to have face-to-face conversations and interaction with their loved ones. The power of networks to connect people with each other has simply become mindboggling in today’s world.
