London has a new stunning skyscraper that has an unusual feature. It can melt cars parked near by. This is of course not appreciated by car owners. Good thing that there is apparently an easy fix.

Reports appeared this week from London about a skyscraper that is melting cars. The so called Walkie Talkie tower has a mirrored surface that reflects sunlight at such intensity that cars parked at special spots near the tower start to melt. The building has a concave design that bundles the sunbeams at certain angles. London has now closed down the problematic parking spots, but of course the building developers have to fix this situation.

Now a Reuters report says that they heard from a source that the fix is not that difficult and should not be expensive. The options include to just put a surface cover on some of the panels to lower the lens effect of the building.
