iPad Mini Retina May Not Come in October with iPad 5

Apple can launch a new iPad mini model this year but it would be a non-Retina version. Retina iPad mini is much expected to come in Q1 of 2014.

Apple is all set to launch its next generation iPad 5 in October. But no such confirmations are yet come for the launch of Apple's much awaited iPad mini Retina display along with iPad 5 in October. IHS iSuppli Director of Tablet and Monitor Research Rhoda Alexander told CNet that, "The Retina Mini looks less certain for that time. Manufacturing volumes on that would match better with a Q114 [first quarter 2014] launch."

It means that Apple is not yet prepared to release its highly awaited product in October. And Rhoda thinks that it would come in first quarter of 2014 as its production volume suggests. But she quickly adds on "But given that it's Apple, one never knows." It means that one can never be sure about Apple.

Also the production volume of this Apple tablet is not that high volume. However, many other analysts think that Apple will launch its Retina iPad mini this year. Like KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said, "We think iPad Mini 2 may lose its opportunity in the market if it is slated for introduction next year."

Others expect that Apple will launch next iPad mini model this year but it would be without Retina display. A6 or A7 bases iPad mini Retina display could release this year as expected by NPD DisplaySearch. So an iPad mini product is highly expected but not with a Retina display. Evidences and perceptions about the launch of Retina iPad mini this year are very less.
