A Photographic Tribute is Given to Apple

Apple Incorporated received tribute in the form of a photographic album encapsulated in a book by a crazed fan. "Iconic: A Photographic Tribute to Apple Innovation," is the title of book. He bought every product from Apple since its inception and took photographs of them to compile in a book.

Apple consumers are among the most enthusiastic crowd of high tech freaks the world has ever seen. One of them decided to keep a photographic record of every Apple technology from the Apple I where it all began to the latest iPad mini.

Jonathan Zufi, a man from the Land Down Under, began collecting items by Apple. He bought more than 500 items related to Apple. Many of these were collectors’ items. Zufi rented some space to showcase the goods. He then began taking snapshots of them which ultimately amounted to 150,000 in number. He even went to the extent of taking photography lessons in order to take the first class shots.

According to this passionate man, he wanted to create a collection which could serve as a memory bank of sorts for people to gaze at in admiration. While he had never been an employee at Apple, he wanted others to know about Apple’s evolution from humble beginnings all the way to the top position it occupied today.

Over 3500 of the pictures have been put up for display on his website. And at least 650 have made it into a coffee table book. It has been titled: “Iconic: A Photographic Tribute to Apple Innovation.” While this is the ultimate tribute to Apple, the company is in fact geared towards the times yet to come. It does not like looking back at its past. The author, Jonathan Zufi has even gotten one of the co-founders of Apple, Steve Wozniak to contribute a foreword to the book. It’ll be up for grabs once it enters the market for bibliophiles.
