Sony introduces HMX-T3W Portable Wireless Head Mounted Display

Headmounted display is available for pre-order now

Sony has announced that its portable wireless head mounted display called the HMZ-T3W is now available for pre-order. Sony says that it's the world's premier wearable high-definition display and it uses twin OLED screens. The device is available for pre-order in the US right now for $999.

The device is powered by a battery box good for several hours of video or gaming on the go. The headset can also connect to MHL devices and the headset can charge the battery for mobile devices like smartphones and tablets always connected.

The headset is highly adjustable for a comfortable fit for just about everyone and since it uses OLED displays flag is not an issue for fast action. The headset also has integrated 7.1 channel virtual surround sound. The headset can be pre-ordered at Sony Style stores right now.
