A new Accenture study says that consumers have Black Friday on their mind more then ever. Consumers also plan to spend 11% more money during the Holiday shopping season compared to last year.
Black Friday 2013 is on November 29. This is exactly 50 days from today. A new study by Accenture revealed that consumer interest in going shopping on Black Friday is at its highest in 5 years. Additionally 38% of surveyed consumers plan to shop on Thanksgiving Day. 41% of these shoppers will be out shopping on Black Friday as well.

The survey also says that 62% of consumers expect 30% discounts to make the purchase decision. Retailers should be excited as consumers plan to spend 11% more this year.

This year Black Friday is rather late falling on November 29th. In 2012, Black Friday was on November 23rd. Retailers will have four full weeks to please you with special Black Friday 2013 sales until the culmination of the actual Black Friday and the encore on Cyber Monday 2013 (December 2nd).
