Doctors recommend Sprite for hangovers. The other side of alcohol has had many so-called cures but this recent one beats them all hands down. However, according to the health authorities Sprite really works for hangovers.

If you are suffering from having consumed too much booze the night before then go to the refrigerator for a cool bottle of Sprite. That is guaranteed to cure your hangover fast. A hangover is caused by the byproducts of alcohol processing that takes place in the liver. One of the byproducts is acetaldehyde.

This especially causes the uneasy feeling that is termed a hangover. You feel like a monster, all woozy with a headache, the morning after an all-nighter. Acetaldehyde converts into acetate which on the contrary does not cause hangovers. Rather it boosts energy levels. Alcohol causes several chemical reactions in the body and affects many organs.

Researchers wanted to see how they could force acetaldehyde out of the body. The longer it stayed inside, the more problems it caused. By the manipulation and tweaking of enzymes they finally nailed the solution to the dilemma. Over 57 beverages got tested in the process.

Sprite and soda water were shown to be the best option to cure a hangover. However, that does not necessarily mean that you now have freedom to get drunk at the bar every night. Until a solid cure is found, abstinence and moderation are the ideal methods of prevention. The eggs found in a particular form of soup are a guaranteed cure too. A lot more research needs to be done before things can be finalized regarding a hangover cure.
