Actor Charlie Hunnam is not going to play Christian Grey in the upcoming 50 Shades of Grey movie. This is what fans wanted.

The movie based on the best-selling novel 50 Shades of Grey hit its first set back. Actor Charlie Hunnam has decided to drop out and not play the lead role of Christian Grey. The official statement says that the decision was mutual due to scheduling conflicts with Hunnam's TV show productions according to the BBC.

Right after the announcement that Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson are casted for 50 Shades of Grey, a fan outcry began. If this has anything to do with Hunnam's decision is not clear.

Now 50 Shades of Grey needs a new lead. The fan petition that popped up after Hunnam's cast, was calling for Matt Bomer. Will see if that happens now.
