Wii U must have big discounts to sell during Black Friday 2013

The popularity the Nintendo Wii U game console has plummeted and will only get worse with the new next-generation consoles from Sony and Microsoft launching this holiday season. The only chance Nintendo has to gather any market share for its ailing Wii U console during Black Friday 2013 will be to significantly discount the console.

Nintendo has already moved to discount the console down to $299.99. We expect to see prices on the Wii U console fall even further with basic starter bundle selling for $200 during Black Friday 2013. Even at that price, many gamers will stay away from the Wii U because major game developers simply aren't supporting Nintendo's latest console. If any of Nintendo's exclusive first party games are of interest to you, Black Friday 2013 will likely be the best time to get your hands on a Wii U.

According to Black Friday Countdown there is about 41 days until Black Friday 2013. We will again provide full analysis and guidance of Black Friday Ads and Deals in our Black Friday Hub.
