Apple has a brand new strategy up its sleeves for its tablets. At the upcoming event that will take place tomorrow, some spanking new iPads will be released.

The iPad Mini by Apple is the best of the best. Being world-famous due to its high quality features, this tablet is in a class of its own. The 7.9 inch model is a bestseller alright. In fact, two-thirds of the tablets sold worldwide are iPad Minis. It is ironic since the Late Steve Jobs once spoke of this tablet as being dead on arrival.

Yet it is precisely this critter that has conquered the market after the fall of PCs. Apple holds some surprises up its sleeves yet. At the event due on October 22nd, several new tablets will get unveiled. Amazon, Samsung and Microsoft will be featuring their own brands as rival products.

The previous year, Apple came out with a tinier and less costly version of the iPad Mini. This was in response to the market trends. The newer revamped iPad Mini contains Retina Display facility though. Tablets are currently an auxiliary source of revenue for Apple right after iPhones.

However, the competition is getting tough indeed. Rivals are beginning to tighten the pressure and Apple has to respond in the right manner.

Especially, Samsung leads the assault among the list of competitors. Its Galaxy Tab and twin versions of Galaxy Note have eaten away into what was once Apple’s share of the consumer market. Google and Sony too are not taking it sitting down. They have their own versions out in the economic environment. Apple will certainly have to prove its mettle at the event due the day after today.
