A company called Revision that made its name producing ballistic eyewear for the military and law enforcement personnel as shown off its next-generation modular helmet system for soldiers. The modular helmet system combines a mandible that can deflect a 9 mm slug with a ballistic protection visor the slides down over the eyes.

Inside the helmet is a pneumatic cushion system designed to protect the soldier from impacts and provide additional comfort. One of the coolest parts about the helmet is that it has functionality for the heads up display.

The headset displays powered by an Android smartphone with connectivity for the smartphone the back of the helmet. The helmet is a result of a research project called Helmet Electronics and Display System-Upgradeable Protection. There is no indication of when the helmet might be provided the soldiers in the battlefield.
