The Guinness record holder for world's tallest dog Giant George dies. Giant was a pet of David Nasser and Christine Nasser. This biggest dog of the world was born on 17th November, 2005. He died on October 17, 2013, just a month before he 8th birthday.

Both of his owners posted about his death on official website of Giant George. They states, "It is with a heavy heart that we announce Giant George died on Thursday, October 17, 2013. George passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones; one month before his eighth birthday."
Giant George was 3 feet and 7 inches tall from paw to his shoulder and he was 7 feet long. The world's tallest dog was also invited on famous shows like “Live with Regis & Kelly” and “Good Morning America.” The Giant George team has announced on its official website that they will honor the world's tallest dog by celebrating International Giant George Service Day on November 17, 2013.
"In honor of what would be Giant George’s 8th Birthday, we are celebrating Giant George Service Day on November 17. Donate your time and/or money to an animal cause or charitable organization that is important to you and your family," according to the website.
