Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids Tablet Hits the US November 10

Pre-orders kick off November 1

Samsung has announced that it is launching a version of the Galaxy 3 specifically for kids. The tablet will be called the Galaxy Tab 3 Kids and will launch in US on November 10. The tablet will be available for pre-order on November 1.

The Galaxy Tab 3 Kids will sell for $229.99 and includes a protective bumper case. The tablet features a seven-inch screen and has dual operating modes allowing the tablet can be switched between kid's mode and standard mode. In standard mode, parents can use the tablet just as they would a normal Galaxy Tab 3.

The tablet has integrated Wi-Fi and comes preloaded with content aimed at children. Preloaded kids games include Toca Train, Wipeout, Fruit Ninja, Disney’s Toy Story: Smash It! and Where’s My Perry and other games. The tablet also features a number of educational apps and has built-in three-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front camera. The tablet also includes a $10 credit allowing kids to purchase books, movies, and apps via Google Play. The Galaxy Tab 3 kids hard case bundle will also be available for $249.99.
