Formula One driver Kimi Raikkonen is threatening not to raise claiming his team owes him salary. This is probably a first ever strike for not getting paid.

The Formula One season has already been decided. Sebastian Vettel won his fourth championship in a row. Now other topics take over the high profile racing sport. Kimi Raikkonen threatens to not race because he says that his team owes him money. Kimi already did not show up on Thursday and just made it to the Abu Dhabi race track in time to stay qualified to race on Sunday.

According to the BBC, Raikkonen says that he did not see a single dime this year of his salary. Lotus has cashflow problems and Raikkonen is expensive. His salary is 8 million Euro plus 50,000 Euro bonus for each point. Raikkonen is already a multi-millionaire. He does not need the money, but I understand that he also does not want to work for free. Next year Kimi Raikkonen is back at Ferrari.
