Rumor Says Samsung 12.2-Inch Tablet to Go into Production in Soon

Is Samsung working on a Galaxy Tab 12.2?

Rumors are circulating that Samsung is currently working on a tablet featuring a larger screen than is normally seen in the industry. Typically, most tablets top out around 10-inches of screen size. Rumors suggest that Samsung is working on a new tablet that will feature a 12.2-inch screen.

While specifications for the tablets are unknown, previous rumors have suggested that it will have a resolution of 2560 x 1400. Another rumor surfaced today saying that Samsung will be using a film-based capacitive touch solution from a company called Shenzhen O-film Tech.

The rumor also says that the tablet will go into production at the end of 2013. The rumor originates with sources in the Taiwan supply chain.
