This weekend the Powerball jackpot is estimated to hit $130 million. The Mega Millions jackpot on Friday stands at $149 million.

The Powerball lottery did not have a winner on Wednesday sending the jackpot up to $130 million. This is yet another sizable jackpot that is big news and will draw tons more players to lottery for the Saturday drawing. The Mega Millions Jackpot on Friday is though still higher at $149 million.

Winning several hundred million is a life changer and you do not have to scan Black Friday Ads anymore. The only problem are the really unfavorable odds of lotteries. But there are winners. The most recent big Powerball winner story is from October. Carlo Mitchell won a $213m ($123m cash) and was the first winner from California in this lottery.
