Amazon announced today a software update for its new Kindle Paperwhite. This free software update brings new features like Goodreads Integration, Kindle FreeTime parental locks and Cloud Collections for e-reader owners.

Amazon has updated its new Kindle Paperwhite software today. Yesterday, Amazon released free software update for new Kindle Fire tablets. Today it has updated its e-reader software. This software update for the new Kindle Paperwhite brings a bunch of exclusive features to e-Reader owners. The new features include Goodreads integration, Kindle FreeTime and Cloud Collections.

Kindle Paperwhite is best e-reader in the world which has now become even better, with a free, over-the-air software update, according to Amazon. The company will automatically deliver this free software update in the coming weeks. Amazon also gives its users the opportunity to directly download this new software update now via its official website.

Goodreads integration brings together the world’s largest e-reading community and the world’s largest community of book lovers for Kindle Paperwhite users. Goodreads on Kindle Paperwhite will make it even easier to find great books and have engaged discussions about them. Amazon also adds built-in parental controls in its new e-reader. The Kindle FreeTime feature will give parents a simple way to encourage kids to spend more time reading. The Cloud Collections feature gives user the facility to organize books, newspapers, and magazines in customized collections for easy reference. Amazon’s Whispersync technology also synchronizes these collections across your Kindle devices and reading apps. And these collections will be available on all other devices.
