Actor Paul Walker has died in a car crash this weekend. He was famous world-wide for his role in the Fast & Furious franchise.

40-year-old actor Paul Walker died in a car crash at a charity event on the weekend supporting victims of Typhoon Haiyan. He was a passenger in a car of a friend and both died in the accident. The sad news got confirmed with a post on Paul Walker's Facebook. You can read the post below. Some commenters believe that this is one of these tasteless internet death hoax, but this is sadly not the case.

The LA Times has more details on the car crash that happened at 3:30pm on Saturday in Valencia. The Sheriff's department says that the cause of the car crash is still under investigation. In addition Universal Studio also issued a statement of the passing of Paul Walker.
