Fire and Ice: Catching Fire and Frozen are the big winners of the Thanksgiving Box Office.

What did you do on the Thanksgiving Weekend? I know you have been in a movie theater. Reuters reports that movie theaters recorded the biggest Thanksgiving Weekend ever with $294 million ticket sales. This is $4 million more than last year over the 5 day Thanksgiving Day time frame.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire managed to stay on top and set a new record for a Thanksgiving weekend with $110m. The record was held by a Harry Potter movie released in 2001. This is big. The runner up this weekend was Disney's Frozen, which also earned with $93 million more than the Harry Potter movie did.
