MSI Outs New mini-ITX mainboard and Video Card

Small form factor gaming hardware debuts

MSI has pulled the covers off a couple new pieces of computer hardware that are designed to let gamers build small form factor computers that have all the functionality they need. The mainboard is the Z871 Gaming AC and it has integrated Killer LAN, 802.11ac, and Audio Boost technology. It also has integrated audio and lots more.

It works with Intel Core 4th Gen processors, Pentium, and Celeron units. The board also has five SATA ports and USB 3.0 headers as well as a single slot for a video card. The MSI GTX 760 Gaming ITX video card has 2048MB of GDDR5 RAM.

The memory interface is 256-bit and the video card has a base clock of 1006 MHz. The video card is very small at 170x111x41mm and it is only 17cm long. That means it is small enough to fit into small mini-ITX computer cases. Pricing and availability are unknown.
