Porsche Announces new Cayenne Platinum Edition SUV

Platinum version available with more standard features and exclusive interior

Porsche has been making sports cars for decades. In recent years, the company has branched out into SUVs with the first being the Porsche Cayenne. Porsche has announced a new version of the Cayenne called the Cayenne Platinum Edition.

The Platinum edition gets an exclusive colors with exterior accents done in Platinum silver Metallic. The exclusive paint color is Carrara White metallic. The car is also available in Black and White as standard, while Meteor Grey Metallic, Basalt Black Metallic and Mahogany Metallic are available as additional extra cost color options.

The interior of all Platinum versions gets two-tone Black Luxor Beige. Partial leather is standard with full leather optional. The Platinum we be available based on the standard 3.6L Cayenne and the diesel-powered version. The cars also get lots of standard equipment including an 8-speed tiptronic transmission, convenience package, Bose audio package, power Steering Plus, and Park Assist.

The 3.6L V6 Cayenne produces 300 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. The base price of the SUV is $63,600. The diesel version uses a turbo 3.0L diesel and starts at $66,900.
