Adam Sandler earns more than he should. The Hollywood actor tops the Forbes 2013 list of overpaid actors which includes several others like Nicholas Cage and Denzel Washington.

For every dollar that Adam Sandler earns per movie, the movie makes just $3.50 more. This is a clear sign that he is the most overpaid actor among the whole list of Hollywood’s pampered lot. Possessing a net worth of $15 million, Adam Sandler may be the ideal candidate for a bank but as far as Hollywood studios go, he is a raw deal.

Some of his movies have not exactly broken box office records, but the comedian chap has been earning oodles of cash. This fact alone makes Sandler a liability. Of course, that does not mean he is a consistent loser. Some of his movies have been hits too. The only difference is telling whether a particular film of his is going to be a hit or a flop.

Movies such as Grown Ups 2 and Hotel Transylvania were instant smash hits and so Sandler’s paychecks were justified. But there have been many films of his which have bombed too. Furthermore, it appears that the public is getting a bit jaded from watching Sandler’s same old funny man roles over and over again.

Other actors and actresses that make the 2013 Fobes list include: Ryan Reynolds, Reese Witherspoon, Denzel Washington and Nicholas Cage. Even Matt Damon and Jennifer Aniston are there on the roster. It seems some thespians get more than they deserve which is a shame. In a world where there are so many individuals who don’t have a decent job that pays well, such fat paychecks are a crime.
