Obamacare appears to be progressing slowly and steadily. While there are still some hurdles it has to overcome, its deadline has undergone extension. This comes as somewhat of a relief to the afflicted.

For many who want to avail the medical facilities granted them courtesy of Obamacare, the deadline is Monday. However, many others have been given leniency by an extension of the deadline. The 1st of January is the date set for the program to go into action. The exception to the rule is reserved for those who have faced frustrations due to the flawed HealthCare.gov site.

This step is being taken in a bona fide manner so that all will benefit from the medical welfare scheme that is the brainchild of President Obama. Nevertheless, it is a mystery how the government will decide which people are eligible to avail the deadline extension.

Insurance companies are being given guidelines to cut those with ailments some slack. The only thing that stands in the way of healthcare provision to the masses is the precarious nature of the program. It got off to a rocky start and has faced many issues. The original deadline was delayed and then put off for a future date again. This proves that not all is well as far as the practicality of the strategy is concerned.

After the website faced glitches, there was a lot of resentment among the people. A million individuals have already signed in for insurance benefits. More will follow in this race for a place where all maladies and illnesses can be addressed. The government is trying to be as agile as possible with the stratagem. However, despite its good intentions, many pitfalls remain before Obamacare could be fully implemented.
