Aimed at musicians rather than racers

GoPro has been making the most popular small action camera on the market and has spawned a number of competing products over the years. The cameras are available in different kits that are designed specifically for different needs like surfing or auto sports.

The latest camera kit from GoPro is aimed at musicians. The kit uses the same HERO3+ camera that launched last year. The camera can record full HD and even higher resolution video. The camera has the ability to shoot still images as well as video at 12MP resolution. It has integrated WiFi as well.

The WiFi integration allows the camera to interface with a smartphone app giving the user the ability to control the camera form across the room. The special kit comes with several mounts aimed at musicians. The mounts include mic stand adapters for US and European size stands.

The camera includes a number of removable adhesive mounts. The kit has a camera holder and a flex clamp mount that will hold the camera on just about any surface. The GoPro HERO3 Black Edition/Music will ship this spring for $399.99.
