The singer songwriter, Sara Bareilles simply shone at the Grammies 2014. While she got nominated in place of Kanye West and Justin Timberlake, she won no trophies. But the good sportswoman in her was in full swing as she went on to smile for the cameras. She furthermore says she has no tiff with Kate Perry.

Sara Bareilles has given up the gray life of stagnancy and moved out of her comfort zone. While she leads a normal happy-go-lucky life, she is truly enjoying her existence as she goes about her daily business.

At the Grammys night although she didn’t bag any trophy, she did manage to out-nominate Kanye West for his Yeezus and Justin Timberlake for his 20/20. While she was outdone by Lorde and Daft Punk, there were no hard feelings on her part. She even managed to imitate Lorde’s hairdo.

Meanwhile, things have been a bit hard for the musical genius on another level. One of her songs bore an uncanny resemblance to Kate Perry’s “Roar”. This led many of her fans to post hate speech on the social sites against Perry.

Sara Bareilles however refuses to be sucked into this vicious vortex. She knows the game the media plays to pit one famous personality against another and is not willing to be a part of this charade.

That is why Bareilles admits that Kate has been a good friend and she holds no grudges against her. These are brave words and they show the true spirit of greatness and magnanimity of the soul on Sara’s part.
