The Bee Gees were quite a phenomenon in their times. Now, the sole survivor of the musical group, Barry Gibb has some serious advice for Justin Bieber. He says the troubled star needs to grow up if he doesn’t want his career going down the drain.

In a recent interview, Barry Gibb, the only Bee Gee left behind gave some unsolicited advice to the young pop star Justin Bieber. Bieber has gotten himself into a lot of trouble by driving under the influence of alcohol and drag racing. He was also found guilty of having sex with a prostitute in a foreign nation.

Gibb says he has all the experience in these wild ways since he too started out in show biz while young. Especially, if you are the heartthrob of millions of teenage girls, you can lose your cool pretty easily. Barry Gibb feels for Bieber, who he says is otherwise quite disciplined in his line of work. He just needs to concentrate on reforming his behavior too.

The Bee Gees earned worldwide fame with their #1 hit “Staying Alive”. Andy, who was Barry’s brother died of alcoholism and drug abuse. The years of excessive living took their toll and he succumbed to the addiction. Barry says that he too has been there and done that.

That is why his advice can only help Bieber who has all the talent in the world. The Bee Gees were labeled the Kings of Disco way back in the good old days. But they too faced their individual demons as every artist must.
