Apple's iPhone 5 was proved to be a big success. And now the rumor mill turns towards the next iPhone model. The latest rumors are circling about iPhone 6 camera. Taiwan's sources (via MacRumors) claim that Apple is going to enhance the shooting capabilities of its next iPhone model.

Sources from Apple's supply chain in Taiwan report that iPhone 6 will come with at least a 10MP camera. iPhone 6 camera can be more than 10 megapixel. And sources also claim that Apple will also improve the camera aperture. Apple's current iPhone 5S has an 8MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture. And the next iPhone 6 is rumored to come with +10MP camera with f/1.8 aperture.
And it is also claimed by Taiwan's industrial chain that Apple will also improve the filter of iPhone 6. Current iPhone 5 is using a hybrid IR filter. But the reports claim that iPhone 6 camera will come with a resin lens filter. A Japanese company JSR is manufacturing these resin filters.

The report also claims Apple will change the filter used on the iPhone 6 camera, replacing the hybrid IR filter used on the iPhone 5s with a resin lens filter manufactured by Japanese company JSR. JSR is known for its ARTON Resins, which are used in digital and video cameras with CMOS image sensors.
JSR claims that its ARTON filters are better than IR filters as they "are lighter and thinner than comparable IR filters and take clearer images due to the resin's ability to minimize the color shifts of CMOS image sensors."
But the previous reports about iPhone 6 camera capability are totally different from this one. The China Post previously claimed that Apple will launch iPhone 6 with same 8MP camera. However, this 8MP camera will be an improved one than that of iPhone 5S camera in areas like optical image stabilization.
