The former lead singer of Guns’n’Roses, Axl Rose jeered at the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ performance at the Super Bowl. He especially made a flippant remark about Flea having a gizmo stuck up his posterior.

After the Red Hot Chili Peppers went onstage to rock the crowd at the Super Bowl, over 11 million fans cheered them from the stands. But the fact that everything except for the words was prepared beforehand made the aftertaste not so easily digestible. This was especially so when hecklers like Axl Rose went on to air his mean and nasty comments about the group.

Axl spoke of how the act looked like the sign language person’s antics at Nelson Mandela’s funeral. And as for the audience, it was tuned into a karaoke occurrence. And to add insult to injury he went ahead and pointed out how flea probably had a bug implanted in his behind. It picked up signals and transmitted them to his sound system.

Axl Rose furthermore punned sarcastically by saying that “Google Ass” instead of “Google Glass” would be a more appropriate metaphor for the group. He even called them “Ass-tro-nots”. Members of the band have not responded in kind, which may be a sign of maturity on the part of Flea and the others.

Axl has seen his talent go down the drain after many members of his original band Guns’n’Roses left him. Maybe that is one reason he is so eager to find fault with others. It would be better for him to do some soul searching for a change and instead of nitpicking look into his own conscience.
