The famous game Subway Surfers for the Windows Phone has been served with the latest version 1.18.1 update which brings a sunny Miami course to the Nokia Lumia smart phones.

The update lands at the same day as for the iOS and the Android platforms, which is showing the growing importance of the Windows Phone to the developers.

The Subway Surfers for the Windows Phone is one of the best endless-runner games and it is up there with the Temple Run in terms of the popularity measurement. The aim of the game is pretty much simple, run and run for as far and as long as you can along the attractive tracks, dodging the subway cars and some other obstructions in the way.

During playing the game, all the time the player needs to be gathering the distance, coins, and some more other challenges. These in turn can then be used to purchase some in-game upgrades. Helping the player go the distance is the trusty hover-board, as well as it is a bunch of power-ups the gamer will find along the way, such as the jetpack power-up.

The famous game has been using the Christmas theme and the challenges for an extended period, but now, the Windows Phone users are moving their world tour to the Miami area.
