Reports on official launch dates and pre orders

The Nokia Lumia Icon is no longer a rumor and with its official launch date announced, it has now become a reality. An internal document has been released which gives a little insight to the upcoming smartphone and it rightly matches the phone’s teaser which was released by Nokia itself two days back. The phone which will be launched on the Verizon network will make its official release on the 20th of this month. But to be very exact, the phone itself will be available on the 19th of February but the accompanying accessories will start selling the next day on the 20th. So we are expecting the sales to start on the same day. This piece of information has been confirmed through the internal Verizon inventory document.

WPcentral has given its take on the launch of the phone through its report which days that the pre orders will be taken starting from the next week. We are hoping to get an announcement on this one soon since the pre order date is set for the 12th of February according to this report. For those who are already thinking of getting their hands on the phone early, they can place their re orders next week against a deposit of $50.
