Lumia 1320 hits the UK markets and will be available in the US by January 24 through the Virgin Mobile, EE, and Carphone Warehouse

Nokia Lumia 1320 has hit the UK markets already and US will have to wait till the 24th of this month. The phone will be available online and you grab it from a couple of online retailers and not to forget the options of Virgin Mobile, EE, and Carphone Warehouse. The Vice President of Nokia UK and Ireland has stated that this new phone is built upon the success of the Lumia and follows the same trail by offering a Windows Phone in a format of a large screen smarthpone. The warm industrial design and the large screen will soon make it a favorite among ordinary as well as business customers.

Moving towards the details of the specs, the phone features 6 inch display, a 3400 mAh battery, 1.7GHz dual-core CPU, 5MP primary camera and a 0.3MP front-facing unit. It has a 1 GB RAM and an internal storage of 8 GB which comes with microSD card slot.

And because it is a device by Nokia, it is a given that there are a few tweaks here and there and the phone slightly deviates from the typical Windows Phone format here with the MixRadio which a special ad-free music service with which users can download playlists for offline listening without any charges. The HERE Drive navigation, HERE maps, and HERE transit apps will all be featured on the smartphone.
