An unofficial price cut in Xbox One followed by a drop down in prices of PS4 through online retailers

Since their official releases, the PS4 and the Xbox One had been doing considerably well and many records were also broken this time around. The PS4 has taken a lead in the sales by being ahead of the Xbox One which has landed on its second place primarily because of being highly priced. There was a price drop for the Xbox One which was unofficial and a similar strategy has been flowed for the PS4 as its price decrease has been announced by GameStop.

The price cut shouldn’t have been expected at this time of the year and the reason why these drop downs in prices are not official is that they have just been released and there is still a long way to go before the manufacturers of these next gen consoles make announcements for the official price drops. There is still a long wait before any price cuts are officially announced hence the offers from online retailers will have to suffice. The PS4 at the moment is selling for $80 less than the Xbox One and with another price cut, the PS4 has been made cheaper even further in the UK. GameStop is an online retailer for video games and the unofficial price cut has been announced by it recently. This offer allows people to save $20 on their purchase of a brand new PS4.

The unofficial price cut for the Xbox One was announced by Zavvi which is another online retailer in UK and its offer reduced the price of the Xbox One by £20. Zavvi is selling the Xbox One at this discounted price while the PS4 is selling for its original price.
