T.J. Oshie will be leading the US ice hockey team at the Sochi Olympics this year. But the main thing that attracted everyone’s attention was his fiancée, Lauren Cosgrove who is rooting for him. She is pregnant too so the two will likely tie the knot soon.

The drop dead gorgeous, platinum blonde is the epitome of beauty and grace. And her fiancé, T.J. Oshie is headed for the Sochi Olympics and he will oversee the St. Louis Blues as they play against the Russians.

She saw his performance on screen from her home in Missouri. But the excitement and adrenaline proved too much and Lauren Cosgrove joked that she might start having labor pains. T.J. Oshie’s female sidekick is eight months into her gestation period.

Cosgrove has gone on record to say that she has full faith in her man’s abilities. She believes that he is destined for a legendary status in the annals of sports history.

Cosgrove said he was her heartthrob. She stayed behind due to the approaching delivery of their baby. But despite all the hype and ego-boosting talk, Oshie has made it to the Sochi Olympics by the skin of his teeth. He was selected by a narrow margin.

The fact that he passed the puck between the Russian goalie’s legs is proof of his prowess though. He is not a bad player. When he called Cosgrove from the Sochi Olympics he was all excited and hyperactive about the bond which the two shared in common.

Cosgrove said that usually Oshie was not so wild and wacky. She believes though that her husband-to-be and father of her child will win gold for America. Oshie and Cosgrove are America’s golden couple alright.

If Oshie really manages to win a Gold Medal for the hockey team at the Sochi Olympics, the birth of his child on Saint Patrick’s Day will make both him and Cosgrove very proud of each other. And even if he doesn’t, it is not winning or losing but how you play the game.
