The CEO of Tesla Motors, Elon Musk has denied any rumors regarding his company’s merger with Apple. He says that such an eventuality is unlikely. But, in recent times Elon Musk met with the Mergers Department Head of Apple as well as CEO Tim Cook. There might be something cooking!
Tesla Motor CEO, Elon Musk met with officials from Apple recently. The two company heads held talks and discussed matters of interest. But when Elon was asked regarding the rumored merger he waved it off as propaganda. According to Elon Musk it was highly unlikely.

News had been doing the rounds about Apple taking over Tesla. The various gadgets and software of Apple would figure in the electric cars produced by Tesla Motors. At least, this was the plan that the two companies seemed to be covertly in favor of.
But CEO Elon Musk has denied any such designs. He did say this much that several conversations had taken place between the two. But as to an acquisition, he said it was nothing but premature speculation.
Elon Musk spoke awhile back of how the lithium ion plant his company was to set up would take several other helping hands. This was the implicit message.
But when he was interviewed regarding whether Tesla was to be sold to the highest bidder he flat out denied any such objectives in the future. He clearly didn’t see such a thing happening any time soon.
Meanwhile, Apple CEO Tim Cook has said that his high tech firm reserves its initiatives and acquisitions for where they are deserved. It is easily discernable that Apple is worth much more than Tesla. The two aren’t much of a match either.
And while there may be some such compatibility between Apple and Tesla in the very distant future for now at least such is not the case. Maybe all the hype was just that…hype!
