Jake the Snake has a Tumor Behind his Knee

Jake the Snake Roberts has a cancerous tumor behind his knee. The recent discovery of this deadly disease has not put him off his optimism though.

The wrestler was a beloved figure of the world of professional brawls. Throughout the 80s and 90s he entertained and raised the adrenaline and testosterone levels of millions via his DDT move.

It was none other than Jake the Snake Roberts who used his killer moves to defeat so many other wrestlers. He was quite well known for his showmanship. An extroverted Roberts would bring along live snakes and pythons into the ring with him. He had the style and the action and the motion. The man was a virtual dynamo of energy and passion.

Yet recently some bad news emerged from the shadows. Since he is getting older by the day, Jake has started contracting various ailments and maladies. Cancer is one of them. He has just been diagnosed with a malignant tumor behind his knee. It is about the size of half a dollar. Emergency surgery will have to be performed to remove the harmful growth.

But Jake is his usual confident self. He wants the world to know what a seriously nasty disease cancer is. Yet he is not without hope. In fact, he says that he will be back soon after having defeated cancer. The star Jake the Snake wrestler wants to be included in the wrestling Hall of Fame.

He said that if the devil can’t defeat him than cancer doesn’t stand a chance of hurting him either. Jake wants to return to the ring whether he succeeds in beating cancer or not. He is one fine fellow with a whole lot of chutzpah alright.

Jake had a period in between his wrestling career when he started abusing drugs. But later on he cleansed his body and soul and today he is absolutely drug-free. Yoga was part of the treatment that helped Jake the Snake kick the drug habit.
