Nick Lachey, having enjoyed his boy band days being a heartthrob, has now turned into a reality star and is joining the show. He will start hosting the show from the 3rd of March and show will be shot live from the same old spot; the Times Square studio. This is the same studio which bumped up his career back in the 1990s. Back then he had the uproar for the TRL and now it certainly feels good for him to be back.
The forty year old reality star will now be replacing Carrie Keagan and taking over his hosting gig on the morning news show weekdays from 10 to 11 a.m. He had missed the energy that surrounds Time Square and all that is worth backing back to for him. So much so that even his wife, former MTV VJ Vanessa Minnillo, is moving in to Manhattan along with their 17-month-old son Camden. We can see how excited Nick Lachey is as he goes on to explain his feelings saying that “Things are gonna go wrong, and you have to be able to laugh those off,” “The audience will be at ease if you’re at ease.”
