Video shows an iPhone 4 or 4s booting untethered on the latest iOS 7.1 firmware
Thanks to a seasoned hacker, video of iOS 7.1 booting untethered has been posted on the net and considering his earlier work, this might be another useful and insighful video. All the works of Winocm in the past have focussed on oldeer devices as well along with pieces of firmware. Though the device on which the untethered boot has been achieved isnt clearly stipulated, yet we can all conclude that it is the iPhone 4 which is powered by the Apple A4 processor.
Don't Miss: MWC 2017 Highlights
Considering how the older models are always easy to hack, we know why Winocm always tries to jailbreak the older devices.Talking of the jailbreak community, the hackers are not very vocal and the findings of their efforts are not entirely being communicated to us. This can be explained by the fact that the hackers dont want to give away too much information in their cat and mouse chase with Apple.
This might come as hopeful insight but it still does not promise that an iOS 7.1 jailbreak will be released to the public. But there is nothing we can say at the moment because since the arrival of the updated OS, not enough information has been communicated and it might be possible that an iOS 7.1 jailbreak could be on the cards.
