It usually generate a controversy that goes as far as starting petitions to bring back a character. This time around The Good Wife killed a major character on Sunday's episode.

Spoiler Alert:Will Gardner (Josh Charles) was killed in cold blood by his client in court. The character of Josh Charles was with the series since the beginning in 2009.
