HTC's new flagship comes with with depth-sensing camera and larger screen
At last there will be an end to the leaks for the HTC One which is no longer a secret anymore. HTC has released its new flagship today and one thing is for sure that those who fell in love with the previous model will not be disappointed with this one. The unibody remains with the same aluminum just like last year's however this one features some more metal and has more pronounced curves at hand. But more aluminum means that the phone is heavier as compared to the previous model but this can be ignored because of the incredible design which you will be getting at the end.
The phone features a spacious 5 inch screen and has the same panel of 1080p S-LCD3 one and this ensures the presence of the same bright colors and deep blacks. For increased protection, the entire front gets a coating of a sheet of Gorilla Glass 3. One prominent and more convenient change is the replacement of the capacitive buttons with the standard trio of Android soft keys. Looking inside the internal features, the phone runs on the strong 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 and has 2 GB in its RAM. This tells us exactly why the phone manages everything at ease; whether it is composing videos, editing photos or even playing high quality 3D games.
Like most of the phone, the new HTC One comes with 2 storage options of 16 GB and 32 GB and another good news is that Google is now throwing in 50 GB worth storage for 2 years thus replacing the need for dropbox. So you should be looking forward to a phone which will never run out of storage unless you really decide to be an abusive user. The phone runs for a good amount of time on its sizable 2,600mAh battery which allows a talk time of 20 hours.Connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.0, dual-band 802.11ac WiFi, AWS compatibility, LTE, NFC, an accelerometer, gyroscope and barometer.
The highlights here however are the two very prominent features which have made their way down from the previous model. These include the front-facing stereo speakers with BoomSound and the UltraPixel camera around back. We had certainly heard a lot about the camera setup of this phone and now we have it in its full fledged form.
