If you were around during the 70's or were a fan of afternoon TV growing up, you probably recall the Partridge Family. The show followed a family of singers and David Cassidy was one of the people on the show.

Cassidy is still around and is now 63 years old. You may also be familiar with is smoking hot daughter, Katie Cassidy from the CW show Arrow. She was also barely recognizable in the original Taken as the friend of Liam Neeson's film daughter who was kidnapped.

Cassidy has had a rough road of late with a recent conviction for DUI reports CNN. He plead no contest to a drunken driving charge in LA this week. He was sentenced to five years probation, fines, and a nine-month alcohol education program.

A CHP officer arrested Cassidy after making an illegal turn at a red light near LAX in January. When tested for alcohol the singer blew twice the legal limit. Cassidy blames his drunken state on drinking brought on by stress over arguments having to do with profits from The Partridge Family.

"David just completed a stint in rehab and was doing very well in sobriety," manager Jo-Ann Geffen said.

"He was in Los Angeles to attend depositions by Sony Pictures Television, respondents in a lawsuit filed by Cassidy in 2011 over what he claims are monies long due him from 'Partridge Family' merchandise, home video, etc.," she said. "After attending his and his manager's depositions, it appears as if the pressure led to a brief relapse."
