The Z3 comes as a collaboration of BlackBerry and foxconn in order to provide low priced entry level phones to emerging markets
A picture which has come out all the way from Malaysia gives a glimpse of the BlackBerry Z3 along with the BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry Z30. Though all these handsets seem to be differentiated from one another in some way or the other, yet there is one thing extremely interesting about the new Z3 which is the highlight at the moment. The Z3 is the first phone which is going to get off the assembly line under the terms of a five-year pact between BlackBerry and contract manufacturer Foxconn.

According to this deal, Foxconn is going to design, produce and store entry-level BlackBerry models for the emerging markets. Now you might be thinking what role BlackBerry is playing in all this if Foxconn is doing all the work. Well, the OS and the marketing will come out from BlackBerry itself. With equal efforts put in, both parties will have their fair share of profits which will be split.
These new BlackBerry handsets will come with a new goal of attracting customers to use the latest BlackBerry OS because majority of the phones are still using the older OS. This will be an easier way for the customers in emerging markets to get hold of these low priced entry level phones which will feature the latest OS. Talking about the Z3, the phone has a 540 x 960 display with 220ppi pixel density. It will launch sometime this month in Indonesia.
